NC State SailPack: Triangle Tango Regatta Poster Design

I partnered with NC State University’s SailPack program to create the promotional poster and social media graphics for the 8th Annual Triangle Tango Intercollegiate Regatta. The design combines custom vector artwork inspired by vintage 1950s–60s advertising—including a redrawn vector illustration based on real photos of student sailors—with playful custom typography, gritty halftone textures, and a limited retro color palette. NC State’s spirit is woven throughout the composition with sponsor logos, team burgees, and fun Wolfpack nods like branded flags, hand gestures, and a foam finger. The result is a nostalgic, energetic visual system that captures the excitement and tradition of college sailing.
